Thinset instead of adhesive for sheet vinyl?
I’m putting sheet vinyl on the wood floor of an outdoor porch that gets direct sun and temps of up to 120 degrees in the summer (Arizona). Normal vinyl adhesives won’t hold up to those temps, so I’m thinking of using thinset instead. QUESTIONS: Does thinset adhere to the backing of sheet vinyl? If so, is economy-grade thinset good enough for this job? Any other tips you can give me? Thanks!
use contact cement i use it in hotter temps than that [ read the info and apply it to the directions and it will last up to 25 years if done right]
